work on a syllabus specifically designed for
the beginner’s/intermediate & intermediate advance levels. This
is a standard syllabus they use for their teaching stints abroad
.It was designed to introduce students to their teaching style &
method at both levels
Pre-requisite:
The
beginner’s/intermediate level must at least have 3 months to 1
year of tango experience while the intermediate/advance must at
least have minimum of 2 years tango experience.

contains the following structures:
I. Tango
a)
Updated tango techniques. Dissociation. Weight changes.
Dancing fluidly
and naturally. Clarity in leading. Quality in following.
b)
Walking in open & close embrace.
Sequences with
changes indynamics. Single & double time.
c) Sacadas of the man and woman without interrupting
the dance flow.

intermediate/advance level

contains the following structures:
I.
Tango
a)
Walking in open & closed embrace. Sequences with changes in
dynamics. Single & double time.
b)
Sacadas of the man & the woman without interrupting
the dance flow.
II. Vals
a) Interpreting the ryththm. The walk. Turns.
b) Specific dynamics in the tempos of the tango vals.
Using the double
tempo. Turns.
III. Milonga
a) Interpreting the rhythm. The traspie walk. Today’s figures.
b) Contrapositions. Bloqueos and dissociation within the milonga. |
